Fits VW Beetles Pre 1967 with the push button release, and can be used on early Beetles if the catch is changed to the later style on the body.
These engine lids are the only brand new lids available on the market.
It has come to our attention that some customers have experienced fitment issues with them. You may find that they do not match the arc of body below the fresh air intake grills. If this is the case, modifications will be necessary.
You may need to re-arc the lid and possibly needing to "flatten" it down to match the body line.
The engine lid is sold with these conditions and returns are not possible.
