VW Kombi Gearbox 1968 to 1975

This gearbox is the "002" model and will fit all years 1968 to 1975 with the 1600cc fitted as standard and all models from 1972 to 1975 with the type 4 engine fitted.

(Later models we recommend the "091" style gearbox)

This gearbox does come with the "Bunny ears" bell housing, but it is easy change to your old gearbox (Non bunny ear) if you need this style, you will also need to change the input shaft if using the Type 1 style engine. This is an approximately a 10 minute job to carry out.

All gearboxes carry a warranty subject to terms and conditions of 50,000 Kilometres or 12 months whichever is first.

Warranty does NOT cover incidental costs such as installation or removal, warranty and guarantee covers the gearbox only, shipping again is not something that service includes so is NOT covered under the warranty, if no fault is located you may be subject to additional costs.

All gearboxes must returned to us for inspection before any replacement or repair is carried out.

Warranty does not cover competition use or none Aircooled VW engines fitted (i.e. Subaru engines etc)
