These spreads the load from the CV Joint Bolts across the flange of the CV Joint Boot. 3 of these go between the bolt(s) and the CV Joint on each CV Joint.

90mm Joints measure 1.54" Center/Center between CV Bolts (Beetle CV’s)

and

100mm Joints measure 1.69" Center/Center between CV Bolts (Kombi and Porsche 944 CV’s)
