  • VW Lower Engine Case Mounting Stud
The VW Lower Engine Case Mounting Studs are sold individually, 2 are needed per engine. 

The studs thread into the engine case and stick through the transmission case, below the bell housing where a nut is threaded on securing the bottom of the engine to the transmission. 

The stud is 85mm long and has 10x1.5mm threads at either side of the center shoulder. 

The studs fit 1954 through 1977 Standard Beetle, 1971 through 1979 Super Beetle, 1956 through 1974 Karmann Ghia, 1955 through 1974 Type 2 Bus models, 1962 through 1973 Type 3s 

Note - not campatible with Auto-stick or Automatic transmission equipped VW models.
