Vintage Speed Equal Length 42mm (1 5/8") Stainless Steel Super Flow Muffler for Type 1 Engine in 1950 to 1974 Beetle, Super Beetle, and Ghia, This is a true Equal Length "Pea Shooter" exhaust available for your VW Beetle or Karmann Ghia.

This model exits the pea shooter cutouts like stock, in the stock Rear Apron Cutouts on 1955+ carbureted models.

This muffler was developed with a lot of dyno time, and CAD (Computer Aided Design).

This is a Tuned 1 5/8" (42mm) exhaust system, heater boxes are NOT available for this beast, nor is preheat needed for Center Mount Carburettor set ups.

This muffler is built from 100% #304 stainless steel, Muffler, Tail Pipes (Pea Shooters), Header Pipes, even the M18x1.5mm O2 Sensor Bung is 304 Stainless, and this allows you an easy headache free connection for your Wide-band, or for Closed-Loop operation of your Fuel Injection System if needed.

This exhaust is only recommended for set ups with dual carburettors, since preheat flanges are NOT available for this system.

WILL NOT CLEAR FACTORY THERMOSTAT

Gaskets and Bolts are included.
