If you are looking to upgrade to a dual carburetor set up or improve your current system then the 40K Series carbs are the answer. 
These carburetors offer improvements and upgrades that produce performance gains, smooth idle and reliability over your current single throat carburetors. 
 
The extended the carburetor base to accommodate a wide variety of air cleaner options including EMPI velocity stacks. 
 
A brass vent tube is added to prevent flooding. 
 
Vacuum improvements were done to allow the option of a single vacuum advance distributor and not affect idle performance. 
 
EMPI has made it easy for you to upgrade to the 40K series system by suppling all the necessary components to complete the conversion kit.
 
These are a good option to the Weber ICT set up or the Twin EMPI EPC set up.
