VW guards take their fair share of abuse. When they get rumpled they crack at the edges. Once this happens, it is very difficult to repair the cracks and make them hold. Often, the best course to take is to replace the fender with a new one.
Replacement fenders that are available today may be different than your original guards, because of these differences it is advisable to purchase both front or rear guards together to ensure a proper match.
Shipping Note: guards ship at a dimensional weight NOT by the actual weight of the guard, this makes shipping correct when checking out at our online store.
Note also there is an extra hole that will have to be filled if you are not running the US style over rider supports.
Test fit the guard before painting!
Once body work or paint work has been done to any sheet metal item, it can't be returned!
NOTE: All sheet metal parts are sent with a black, sprayed, rust inhibitor. This is NOT paint or a primer. It must be removed prior to applying primer to the sheet metal.
PLEASE NOTE! This unfinished item is normally sanded, primered, & painted as part of a completed project.
