Ball Joint disc brake dropped spindles

These new spindles will lower your 1968 and newer Beetle or  Karmann Ghia  2-1/2"  (63mm)

By lowering the front end with these new spindles you will not change the ride quality!

With any modified spindle, the mounting location of the wheel moves outward (i.e. it will move the tire closer to the guard lip). The dropped spindles will move the wheel outward approx. 7mm each side.

These will not work on Super Beetles, or Kombi's.

Notes:

On Karmann Ghia's in our experience you will also need to fit a narrowed beam, as guard rub will unavoidable on a stock width beam.

LVV certification will also be required if you want to have full dicloseure on your insurance policy

Lower tire profiles may have to be purchased if your car is also running a beam adjuster 

If you intending on running alloy wheels and using dropped spindles you will need to consider fitting a narrowed beam to allow clearance of the tires to the guards
