The easiest way to check is to see if you don't have the "Centre Pad" on your pressure plate if you don't this is the correct bearing (see picture)
Please bear in mind that people have changed clutches, engines, flywheels, and gear boxes over the years, so it is best to check what your VW needs before ordering.
