Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a certain model, but are universally used.
These parts are recognisable by the part number beginning with the "N" of Normteile, which means standard parts.
You'd think these standard parts would be available at any DIY store, but Volkswagen hasn't made it that easy. These may be standard mass-produced parts for various applications, but most of them are not common and therefore not found on the shelves of the construction market.
It may be a standard particle, but that does not mean that it is still readily available today.
The cylindrical screws mentioned here have a convex head with a Philips crosshead in the size M4 x 6 mm and are made of stainless steel. If the head of the screw is visible after installation, remember to polish the head to a high gloss.
