Fits 1968 to 1979 Kombi's
 
This is the connector that runs fore/aft on your bus from the steering box to the pivoting arm Swing lever.
 
To check if a drag-link is bad, turn the steering wheel back and forth while you place your hand on the ends, it should NOT move up and down.
 
This will also work for Brazilian made Kombi's 1979 to 1982 but requires modification to work, this is your only solution if you have a Brazilian made Kombi
