For positive repair of stripped threads for vw case studs or used just as a preventive measure on new engines. Restores stripped threads to original sizes for use of original case studs. These case savers provide a better thread that original studs.

We recommend on the early “H” Case that you use the M14 outside diameter case savers and use this case saver on the LH Upper (Number 3 Cylinder) inside the recessed hole as the out side diameter is smaller giving the clearance you need in that hole position.

We also recommend these when you are boring your case for the large 94mm piston barrel kits as extra clearance is needed.

NOTE: Engine must be disassembled and the case machined Stud Size 10mm by 1.5mm ID x 1/2" O.D. 20 Threads per Inch
