This is the street model EMPI "009" Copy which has similar advance curve to the old no longer available Bosch 009 distributor.
Both utilize the same tune-up components as the 009 and come complete with O-ring seal.
These distributors are a must whenever you plan to change to any after market carburettor kit.
You will need a 009 distributor with any Weber- Solex- Dellorto- EMPI single or dual carb kit.
When setting up your distributor we advise that you set the maximum advance @ 3000 RPM to 30˚ advance and let the advance at idle fall where is falls
Points gap is 016” (0.40mm) This is a good place to start, we tend to set it by dwell as this is a true reading dwell is 50˚ .
