These are fairly restrictive inside, we recommend unscrewing the ends and re-using the stock "Chicken Wire" inside to prevent the insulation from collapsing, which restricts and/or blocks the heated airflow to the cabin of the car.
If you do need to shorten these, they disassemble VERY easily by screwing off the ends, then just trim it and screw them back on.
