Comes complete with a new fan belt, and mounting brackets.

This kit allows you to fit an alternator to your Type 3 Volkswagen.

Why don’t we supply an alternator with the kit? We like to give the end user the option to buy a new alternator or a quality used alternator.

This kit made in house here at The Metric Nut due to being dissatisfied with the other brackets available.

Quick and easy installation, bolts right in with minimal modifications. (Depending on the alternator you get you may have to clearance the alternator mount to fit)

These are a far superior kit to any other kit, as the brackets support the alternator more securely and allow better adjustment.

Please note, a certain amount of mechanical ability is required to fit this kit, so if you are unsure please have a experience mechanic have it fitted for you.

If you have a 6 volt car and are changing it to this kit, you may have to grind a small amount fan housing to allow full alternator belt adjustment.

The required alternator is fitted to Mazda 121’s and some forklifts and is really available as it is used in many applications due to being very compact and plenty available

The common part number is AN201 for this alternator, and is the same alternator used on the EMPI and CB Performance kits
